Data controller

The controller of the personal data provided through this site is the operator of ChinaTour.es, with its place of business in Beijing (People's Republic of China). You can reach us at [email protected].

Pending before launch: complete the registered company name, registered address and, where applicable, the details of the data protection officer.

What data we process

This site does not use forms and does not collect personal data automatically. The only contact channel is WhatsApp, a third-party service, together with email and telephone.

When you write to us, we process the data you choose to include in your message: name, contact details, travel dates, number of travellers and preferences. To arrange bookings and permits we may also need the passport details of the travellers.

What we use the data for

We use your data strictly to deliver the service you have asked for:

To prepare and send a travel proposal tailored to your request.
To manage bookings, permits, visas and travel documentation.
To assist you before, during and after your trip.
To comply with the legal and registration obligations required for accommodating foreign visitors in China.

Legal basis

The basis for processing your data is your consent in contacting us, and the performance of the contractual relationship once you accept a quotation. For passport data, the basis is compliance with the legal obligations that apply to entry into China.

Who we share it with

Data is shared only with the suppliers needed to deliver the service you have contracted: hotels, transport companies, guides and, where the itinerary requires it, the authorities that issue travel permits. We do not pass data to third parties for advertising purposes.

Contacting us by WhatsApp means that the content of the conversation is also processed under WhatsApp's own terms, which are outside our control.

How long we keep it

Data from enquiries that do not lead to a booking is kept for a maximum of twelve months. Data linked to bookings is kept for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the legally required periods.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification of, erasure of and portability of your data, as well as restriction of or objection to its processing, by writing to [email protected].

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only the typefaces are loaded from an external server so that the site displays correctly.
